Coronado Community Center

TPO Roof Installation in North Little Rock, AR

The Coronado Community Center, a multipurpose facility used for public events, meetings, and recreational activities, faced aging roof conditions that required a full system replacement. The original roofing material — modified bitumen installed over plywood — was deteriorating and posed a long-term risk to the interior and structure. The objective was to provide a durable, energy-efficient, and low-maintenance roofing system while minimizing disruption to daily operations.

Project Overview

Our Solution

McAlister Group executed a full tear-off of the existing mod bit roof system and replaced it with a heat-welded, fully adhered 60 mil TPO membrane. This approach mirrors our installations at Cortez Golf Center and Freeman Shopping Center, providing consistency in quality and performance across POA-managed properties.

Scope of work included:

  • Full removal of modified bitumen membrane
  • Installation of ISO insulation board to improve R-value and water shedding
  • Fully adhered 60 mil TPO membrane, heat-welded for complete waterproofing
  • Flashing and termination detailing around walls, transitions, and penetrations
  • Perimeter metal finishing and custom cover striping
  • Project completed with no impact to community event schedules
